Save the Date: Exchange of Experience in Speyer/Germany
The next meeting of the European partnership “Supported Employment” takes place in Ger-many and brings twelve education and labor market experts from six European countries to Speyer. The meeting is hosted by German partner Association Culture and Work and Speyer based GEWO Leben, a non-profit organization dedicated to urban neighborhood develop-ment. The experts of “Supported Employment” will share their experiences with representa-tives of German labor administration and get to know some best practice.
It is of particular interest for the European guests, how “Supported Employment” is imple-mented in Germany. In addition to this subject, they will get to know support instruments of German employment services for the integration of disabled people and learn how special schools are introducing pupils to a professional career.
Besides the professional exchange several site visits are part of the meeting including a visit to the labor market preparation project "Malerwerkstatt" at the Erlich school in Speyer. 2009 - 2014 the project was successfully operated by Association of Culture and Work and is further developed by GEWO Leben since the beginning of 2015.
The event is open to the specialist audience.
